International Management

Tenth Electric have recently signed an international management deal with Dean Hill of Virtual Music Managers. Dean has had an illustrious career in the entrepreneurial side of the music industry – setting up numerous music websites (tourdates), award schemes (EMA) and indie labels (RavenBlackMusic) and is frequently asked to consult by the BBC’s Introducing platform.

With the help of this new deal Tenth Electric will be pushing to top even higher heights, and with new contacts and opportunities cropping up all the time, we’ll be in touch to let you know any good news!

Asian Album Release – In with the New

Tenth Electric have teamed up with Tonium UK – Brighton based development labels with its guns firmly fixed on emerging markets in SE Asia to record and release an Album. The 10 track record will be available to download worldwide on Infogo – a brand new website from which the people of SE Asia and India can download music directly to any enabled device, which includes tablets and android phones and car stereos.

While the release date is not set, the project is in its final stages and should be going live soon!

2012 Gigs in Review

And finally as we approach our first birthday as a band in May this year I thought we should take a quick look back at the gigs we’ve done and what has been achieved our maiden year of 2012. We’ve played intimate acoustic venues like the Islington and Camden head to bustling friday nights at Proud Galleries in Camden. We’ve played with an uncountable number of bands which include the likes of Gin Wigmore and Lloyd Grossman’s band (that’s right – Lloyd Grossman of pasta sauce and through the keyhole fame). But the best thing about playing the above was of course the people who turned out to see us. It is always a pleasure to see regular faces in the crowd and even better to see some completely unexpected faces too. So thank you for all your support!

Hope the new year is treating you well, and I trust the cold snap hasn’t left you shivering too much. God help us when our heating bills arrive!

All the best,
Tenth Electric
